Q: [When can my son join Cub Scouts?]
A: [In April of his kindergarten school year, assuming a Den Leader has
been chosen and the Den is ready to form.]
Q: [Is enrollment in Chapel Hill Academy
required to join this Pack? ]
A: [No! Any boy in grades 1-5 may join. Invite your
friends!]
Q: [When will my son's Den meetings be
held?]
A: [Den meetings are held when most convenient for the Den leader and
parents of the scouts for specific Dens. Senior Webelos (5th
graders) may elect to meet on Tuesday nights as they will be visiting
many Boy Scout Troops in preparation for becoming Boy Scouts.]
Q: [Is there a Scout program for my
Kindergarten son? ]
A: [Yes! In 2008 the Northern Star Council started a local pilot
program for kindergarten aged boys called "Lions". Parents: if you are are
interested in helping us start a Lion group
